History:
Lady Aurora Twilight which meant she was born into the Twilight family but the Lady title meant she wasn't born into the current ruling family, she was a cousin. The Twilight family were the rulers of the Twilight faction naturally. A faction which existed in the periphery and is known mainly for Twilight Industries which produces high tech advance military products exclusively for other Periphery factions. Also under their control is the mercenary faction known as the Twilight Exorcists which exists to showcase their technology and exchange mercenary services for trade deals including exclusivity when it can be negotiated. It also exists to foster good relations between the Periphery factions lending aid against the rampant pirate problem.
Lady Aurora wasn't very interested in the science mumbo jumbo that went on within Twilight Industries. To her parents displease she took quite a fancy to the Twilight Exorcists and wanted to be one of them when she grew up. With her birth given title of Lady of Twilight she would automatically be given a position of leadership within the mercenary company. Her parents tried their best to raise her to be anything but. Instead trying to steer her towards administration or anything else really. Aurora was a rambunctious and difficult to control child though, sneaking around and disappearing, climbing all over stuff including the rooftops. By the time she reached 12 her parents relented and finally allowed her to start training as a mechwarrior. They considered it a waste of her talents as she was very intelligent.
One day Aurora was sent to the Oberon Confederation both to get some training in with them as a mechwarrior and assist in establishing trade negotiations with them. Mostly just by being a representative of the Twilight family. To aid in this she was given a TIE series Centurion to pilot notably being equipped with Tandum Charge SRMs. By sheer bad dumb flucking she was in the Oberon Confederation when the clan invaded. She was on a training exercise when they attacked her group. A Gargoyle declared it's challenge of one on one combat or whatever. By sheer good dumb flucking luck in her favor her missiles managed take out the engine of the Gargoyle that was facing her down in the first salvo. Seeing this clanner to challanger her next was very excited. Inner Sphere filth that took one of their own down so quickly. It went against everything they'd been taught and had seen so far. He was excited, which very quickly turned into immense disappointment when Aurora fell to him just as quickly as the Gargoyle had fallen to her. And she was just a 13 year old kid. She survived the encounter and as this was the very start of the invasion they were still in the habit of taking bondsman and Aurora was taken in just such a way by the Diamond Sharks. While they weren't suppose to be an active force in the invasion the periphery had been declared open for conquering so the Diamond Sharks took that opportunity.
Aurora may have been one of the contributing examples of why the clans stopped taking bondsmen as she was completely uncooperative and required constant supervision to keep her from causing legitimate trouble. It would have given her a level of respect given she was only 13 if not for the underhanded or dishonorable tactics and actions she would use, sneaking around and sabotaging things. Ignoring authority and rules. They were having a hard time figuring out what to do with her.
One of the scientists noticed her purple eyes and asked for her care to be transferred over to the scientist caste which was hastily granted. Indeed even though Aurora was born naturally with her deep purple eyes, they uncovered tampering in her genetics passed down from her parents. It seemed one of her ancestors had tried to give themselves feline features. The scientists jumped all over this, intent on doing it themselves and doing it right both as an opportunity to one up the innersphere and show them how it's done right and as an exploratory opportunity to see if splicing animal DNA with a human could help create even better mech warriors. She was experimented on for years and ultimately they succeeded. She had superior reflexes, sight, smell, hearing, and balance. Even as a relatively untrained mechwarrior they put her up against one of their warrior caste of a similar age and she was almost on par with them. After brining this success to the Khan he and indeed many of the warrior caste were very displeased. Many considered her an abomination but that's not what really mattered. What really mattered was what the other clans would think or do if they found out about her. Aurora with her new found incredible hearing caught wind of this and was sure they were going to execute her. In the dead of night when she could see plenty well and everyone else was handicaped at least without special equipment she made her move. Aurora managed to find her way into a Phoenix Hawk IIC. She disintegrated the roof of the hanger with it's heavy large lasers and with it's powerful jump jets flew out of the thing. Pushing it at full speed to try and get away. All she needed to do was get to a heavily populated area. And then..........well actually with her ears and tails it was impossible to hide amongst a crowd without looking suspicious in a hoody and sweat pants which she would also have to procure. She decided to surrender but before she did she'd at least give them a fight. She hoped if she could at least get them to enjoy it she wouldn't be in as much trouble and maybe just maybe she could convince them with action that she was worth keeping around. So as the Star sent out to retrieve her neared she sent out a challenge to one on one combat, which thankfully for her was accepted. To both their surprise she defeated the Thresher. Next she faced both an Arctic Cheetah and an Huntsman and miraculously defeated them as well. With her armor stripped though finally her mech was shut down by the Direwolf. This had the intended effect and she kept her around though had never planned to execute her. The biggest problem was keeping her under control which was quickly solved when the discovered her DNA alteration had led to not only physical changes but psychological ones as well. She could now be easily manipulated by rationing her food. Especially if you allowed her to smell it she'd do basically whatever you asked without complaint.
With her skills in a mech proven, her secrecy required, and the ability to keep her under control now it was an easy decision of what to do with her. Send her to The Watch. They fixed up the Phoenix Hawk IIC she'd stolen and gave that to her to use since she preformed so well in it.
Personality:

The family harbored a deep hatred of the Innersphere and Aurora adopted this mindset. She is all too happy to kick some Innersphere teeth in on behalf of the clans. Though she is somewhat conflicted. With the ten years she's spent with the clans it was pretty easy to put two and two together that they were SLDF the ones who conquered the Periphery. Not to mention being their prisoner of war and their experimenting on her turning her into some half cat hybrid. She'll plot her revenge against them when she can eventually escape. In the mean time though she doesn't mind cooperating. She's not so sure how well she'll fit into society anymore anyways. Canopus will likely be her safe haven but getting there is the difficult part.
On the matter of her transformation there are certainly some perks to it. All too often people underestimate her ability to eaves drop on their conversations from a distance and being able to see at night is pretty cool. People discriminating against her as a result of not seeing her as human any more was pretty horrible but what was likely the most horrible was what it'd done to her brain. She knows she's changed. She used to be very analytical. Everything had a connection, a plan, a process. But now she was really instinctual. There wasn't so much thinking about it as there was feeling if it was right or not. Sometimes it was a calm pull in a certain direction and other times it was an overwhelming power that seemed to control her. Her priorities have become messed up as well. She knows money can buy food but if she's shown and can smell money and food and given the option it's not even a choice she always goes for the food. Maybe it was because they rationed how much she could eat to keep that craving aflame but part of her also felt like something had changed.
In general Aurora's pretty quiet. She isn't very fond of the clans. In some ways they are nice but in a lot of others they are totally screwed up. For example their idea of honorably dueling everyone. The mechwarriors were essentially assets and whoever had the most resources could train their assets to be better and through their trials of possessions and buchalls and what not whoever had the better assets gained even more resources. The little guy would keep getting flucked over until they were no more. Aurora liked playing dirty or dishonorable as they called it. It evened the playing ground. Could make things a little more fair when they other wise weren't. Aside from that though Aurora does love to tease. Aside from practical communication that'll be the most often reason she'll open her mouth. Offer her some seafood though and she'll talk about whatever the frick you want her too.

Appearance:
Aurora is a short 5' 2" with a very petite and slender build. If it weren't for her curves and C cup she could be mistaken for a child. Her eyes are a vibrant purple and her hair including the fur of her ears and tail a bleach white devoid of pigmentation. Her expression tends to only be either a blank maybe slight frown of immense unaugment or that of mischief and devious playfulness. The best way to read her true emotions though is reading what her ears and tail are doing, typically mimicking those of a house cat. Though they don't get shown too often her mouth does also hide the fangs that are her elongated canines.
When she isn't forced to wear warrior issues armor and what not she tends to wear slightly revealing clothing like a crop top leaving her midrift exposed or her shoulders. It's mostly just because she likes the look but she certainly isn't opposed to the attention from the men. Even if most of them are brainless jerks.
